Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound calls from patients regarding billing inquiries and provide first call resolution
- Update and verify patient account information, including demographics and insurance details
- Make outbound calls to resolve past due balances and handle correspondence related to billing inquiries
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of patient accounts experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience in a call center or phone queue environment
- Basic understanding of health insurance and reimbursement processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word and Excel
