PC Verification Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PC Verification Associate II.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide front line support for the Patient Connection Center by reviewing orders for outpatient services and specialized procedures
• Verify patient insurance, confirm benefits, determine authorization requirements, and review medical necessity
• Create patient liability estimates to prepare for patient visits

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of experience in Revenue Cycle or related clerical accounting/finance, with one year in Healthcare Revenue Cycle
• Four years of related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred
• Prior Epic experience preferred
