Physician Advisor - PA Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Advisor to work remotely during EST daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote efficient and effective clinical care of hospitalized patients through documentation review and communication with hospital staff
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and CMS policy regarding patient admissions and hospital stays
• Provide clinical expertise to manage patient populations and length of stay while meeting performance and quality metrics

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current, unrestricted medical license in state of residence
• Ability to build rapport with medical staff and hospital leadership
• Proven solid computer skills and working knowledge of EMRs
• Ability to work remotely between the hours of 6 pm-3 am EST, M-F with weekend rotation
