Job Summary
A company is looking for a Case Manager (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Provides telephonic case management for workers compensation cases involving lost time and extensive medical care
- Acts as a liaison between claimants, providers, and clients to manage appropriate levels of care
- Evaluates and coordinates treatment plans proposed by providers and authorizes medical treatment on assigned claims
Required Qualifications
- Preferably a bachelor's degree
- Minimum of two years of business experience, preferably in a medical support or health insurance environment
- Proficient in personal computers and supporting software in a Windows-based environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Preferred understanding of case management philosophy and process
