Job Summary
A company is looking for a Benefits Specialist to join their Human Resources team.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
- Act as the primary contact for employee benefit inquiries and support employees in understanding their options
- Oversee the implementation and compliance of benefits-related policies and ensure timely processing of benefit data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; HR certification (e.g., PHR/SPHR, HRCI, or CEBS) preferred
- 5+ years of experience in administering employee benefits, preferably in smaller organizations
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations including ERISA, COBRA, and FMLA
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
