A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs primary source verification and maintains records of providers' information according to credentialing standards
- Assists department supervisor with staff management, work assignment, and serves as an escalation point for credentialing staff
- Leads the Ongoing Sanctions Monitoring process and communicates with various entities to resolve credentialing issues
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum three years of credentialing experience
- Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of credentialing standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience with credentialing databases and internal processes
