Job Summary

A company is looking for a Customer Service Specialist responsible for ensuring successful service for patients in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of products and services, answering calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Process orders, verify documentation, and complete insurance verification for patient eligibility and coverage
  • Facilitate resolution of customer complaints and ensure adherence to quality assurance and performance metrics
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services
  • Two years of work-related experience required for senior-level positions, including one year of specific job experience
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial health plan methodologies preferred
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate multiple online EMR systems
