Job Summary

A company is looking for an Eligibility Specialist III.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain eligibility and billing for assigned accounts, including manual and electronic updates
  • Provide escalated customer service and handle complex billing issues, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Train and support less experienced staff while identifying and implementing process improvements
Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field preferred
  • Five to seven years of accounting/business experience with knowledge of accounting procedures
  • Three years of experience as an Eligibility Specialist I & II or equivalent background preferred
  • Expert knowledge of health care eligibility and billing procedures, including relevant legislation
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite and customer service interactions
