Job Summary
A company is looking for an Eligibility Specialist III.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain eligibility and billing for assigned accounts, including manual and electronic updates
- Provide escalated customer service and handle complex billing issues, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Train and support less experienced staff while identifying and implementing process improvements
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field preferred
- Five to seven years of accounting/business experience with knowledge of accounting procedures
- Three years of experience as an Eligibility Specialist I & II or equivalent background preferred
- Expert knowledge of health care eligibility and billing procedures, including relevant legislation
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite and customer service interactions
