Job Summary
A company is looking for a Specialist, Medicare Member Engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct direct outreach to new Medicare members to assist with their plans and educate them on benefits
- Serve as a navigator for members during the onboarding process and address any questions or issues
- Log all contacts in a database and participate in member engagement work groups as needed
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 2 years of experience in customer service, consumer advocacy, or health care systems
- Experience conducting intake, interviews, or research of consumer or provider issues
- Basic understanding of managed healthcare systems and Medicare
- Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
