A company is looking for a Patient Service Coordinator to join their team in a remote position for Neurology.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial contact person at the medical practice or hospital department, greeting patients courteously
- Manage patient intake, screen for emergent conditions, and handle registration and payment responsibilities
- Coordinate patient flow through the practice or hospital department and support initiatives to improve the patient experience
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months to 1 year of experience providing high-quality customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Experience with ICD 9 and 10 coding is preferred
