A company is looking for an Experienced Patient Services Specialist I to provide customer service support to patients regarding their medical bills remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Responds to patient inquiries about healthcare accounts and assists with understanding their responsibilities
- Handles incoming calls and ensures timely responses to service center inquiries via multiple communication channels
- Researches billing issues, educates patients on their accounts, and connects them to appropriate resources for financial assistance
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.; Associate's degree in a related field preferred
- Three years of Call Center experience and one year of billing experience
- Six months of remote work experience
- Experience in healthcare/medical office customer service is strongly preferred
- Ability to interpret insurance billing processes and technical skills in navigating online systems
