PC Authorization Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PC Authorization Associate II, PRN.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies and third-party payers to determine pre-certification and medical necessity requirements
• Obtain pre-certification or pre-authorization prior to scheduled complex services
• Liaison with physicians and office staff to gather necessary demographic, insurance, or clinical information

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Three years of experience in Revenue Cycle or related healthcare experience
• One year of specific experience within Healthcare Revenue Cycle
• Preferred: Four years of related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and relevant certifications
