Pharmacy Account Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Dedicated Account Specialist to work closely with health system leadership and serve as the primary point of contact for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Address client needs and issues, ensuring resolution through appropriate internal support
• Provide expert customer service for account setup, training, and reporting on the ordering platform
• Generate reports and updates for clients, fostering strong relationships and supporting customer initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical purchasing, pharmacy technician, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Pharmacy technician certification and/or experience as a pharmaceutical buyer preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare finance department
• Knowledge of data functions related to contract compliance and savings opportunities
• Experience in customer service and project management within a healthcare setting
