A company is looking for a VP Payer Sales to drive new business and expand relationships with payer organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales lifecycle with payer organizations, from prospecting to closing and renewal
- Build and grow strategic relationships with executives and decision-makers at health plans
- Partner cross-functionally with product, implementation, and clinical teams to deliver tailored solutions
Required Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience in healthcare technology sales, with at least 5 years focused on payer organizations
- Demonstrated ability to close 6-7 figure deals with health plans as an individual contributor
- Proven track record of hunting and farming payer accounts in startup or scale-up environments
- Deep familiarity with payer pain points and value-based care operations
- Strong command of healthcare technology topics, including clinical data exchange and API integrations
