A company is looking for a Manager of Workers Compensation to oversee claims and risk management in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage the workers' compensation program, including report generation and employee training
- Investigate accidents and injuries, process claims, and recommend loss control strategies
- Compile and analyze comprehensive reports for effective management of claims and risk data
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of work experience preferred
- Experience with Workers' Compensation or safety incidents in a corporate, carrier, or TPA setting is required
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for health and safety plans in the workplace
- Ability to ensure compliance with all state and local regulations
- Experience with leave processes including FMLA and ADA
