A company is looking for a Virtual Care Remote Scheduler.
Key Responsibilities
- Answers incoming calls, assesses needs, and directs callers to appropriate personnel
- Schedules new and returning patients, manages appointment changes, and processes insurance authorizations
- Maintains scheduling templates and prepares necessary correspondence as requested
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0-3 years of experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
- Experience requirements increase with level (3 years for Level 2, 5 years for Level Sr)
