Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Associate.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and examine denial accounts to apply appropriate resolution techniques
• Work closely with third-party payers to resolve unpaid claims and ensure medical necessity
• Provide feedback and educate staff on current trends in the appeals process

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in the health insurance industry, health claims billing, or third-party contracts
• Extensive knowledge of charge master, ICD-9 coding, CPT coding, and EDI billing
• Understanding of legal parameters related to state and federal laws governing plan benefits
• Ability to work successfully in a team setting
• Familiarity with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
