Sales Specialist - Animal Nutrition

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sales Specialist focusing on animal nutrition/feed sales in the North Carolina and Southern Virginia territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted prospect calls to develop new and existing business growth with animal owners
• Analyze sales data to track growth and develop action plans for underperforming areas
• Support selling events and develop Joint Business Plans with cooperatives and dealers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or a related field, or proven sales experience in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of field sales experience with an emphasis on animal science/nutrition
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory, including overnight trips
• Good understanding of animal husbandry and nutritional guidelines
• Strong computer skills, including MS Outlook, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
