Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve escalated cases involving billing errors and eligibility disputes
- Perform root-cause analysis on multi-system issues and coordinate corrective actions
- Act as a liaison between various departments to clarify issues and expedite resolutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience in medical billing, health benefits, or escalation management
- Proven ability to handle complex billing escalations and a deep understanding of claims lifecycle
- Familiarity with billing systems and issue tracking tools
- Empathy-driven and member-centric approach in handling escalated cases
