Job Summary
A company is looking for a Shareholder Services Specialist I who will provide contact center and transfer agency functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to shareholders and financial representatives by answering inquiries about mutual funds and shareholder accounts
- Learn and apply compliance procedures and maintain accurate records in the recordkeeping system
- Engage with internal teams and external clients to address follow-up inquiries and manage workflows
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business administration, finance, or a related area
- Series 6 or 7 license or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of employment
- 1-3 years of experience in client services or a related field
- Experience in a back-office or retirement services department, brokerage firm, or mutual fund department
- Knowledge of mutual funds and retirement plans, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
