Job Summary

A company is looking for a Short Term Disability Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing interviews with claimants and gather necessary information regarding claims
• Collaborate with case managers and medical professionals to make timely claim determinations
• Review medical records and perform financial calculations in accordance with company guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience in claims, leaves, or customer service
• Experience with disability and/or absence management (preferred)
• Strong mathematical skills for payment calculations (preferred)
