Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacy Technician Sr.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates and authorizes prior authorization pharmacy requests using clinical criteria
• Communicates prior authorization decisions and pharmacy benefit coverage to relevant stakeholders
• Monitors staffing levels and serves as a mentor and training resource for team members

Required Qualifications

• Education Level: GED or High School diploma
• Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration in accordance with state requirements
• 2+ years of pharmacy experience
• In-depth knowledge of specialty injectable prescription drugs and medical terminology
• Proficiency in pharmacy computerized systems and MS Office Product Suite
