About the Opportunity

As a Major Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing every aspect of the partnership between Fortinet and Verizon for infrastructure and IT projects. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategic account plans and marketing strategies in close collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive revenue growth and achieve company targets.
• Motivate, educate, and train sales representatives on Fortinet products and solutions, ensuring they are equipped to effectively sell complex network security technologies.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within Verizon, including C-level executives, to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your understanding of Verizon’s infrastructure and IT projects to drive growth.
• Present to executives and individual contributors, communicating the business value and ROI of Fortinet’s network security solutions.
• Manage and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, contributing to the company’s growth and success.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A minimum of 7+ years of prior sales experience, preferably in the technology sector, with a proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.
• Previous experience designing business plans and market strategies with Verizon or other carriers, with a deep understanding of their infrastructure and IT projects.
• Expertise in network security technologies, including SaSe, Sec Ops, and Secure Networking, with the ability to communicate the business value and ROI of these solutions.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to executives and individual contributors.
• A self-motivated, independent thinker with a competitive, hunter-type mentality, capable of moving deals through the selling cycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical requirements and develop tailored solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience working with Fortinet or similar network security companies.
• Knowledge of the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity.
• A degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or technology.
