Job Summary
A company is looking for a Support Engineer to manage and coordinate recovery efforts for production processes and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with clients and management regarding production events, escalating issues as necessary
- Act as a liaison between technical and operational teams to resolve application support and file processing issues
- Monitor support ticket queue and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with engineering or support groups as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent training/certification
- 3-5+ years of experience developing/supporting enterprise-level applications in multi-node Windows or Linux Server environments
- Deep knowledge of application architectures, workflows, and monitoring tools
- Strong experience with SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash
- Ability to work in a cross-functional global team environment and troubleshoot application issues
