A company is looking for a Lost Time Claims Specialist, Workers' Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage indemnity claims by evaluating and establishing action plans for medical and indemnity benefits
- Investigate claims by gathering facts and determining eligibility for benefits using established guidelines
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate the injured worker's return to work and manage claims costs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Three years of experience in the field of workers' compensation insurance required
- Ability to manage claims through the litigation process
- One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred
- Experience in workers' compensation claims practices and laws, court procedures, and state statutes
