Accounting Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Lead (Virtual/Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP
• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable operations
• Prepare and review financial statements and lead month-end and year-end close processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role
• SaaS industry experience required; private equity-backed experience preferred
• Knowledge of revenue recognition related to SaaS organizations
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
