Job Summary

A company is looking for an Authorization Specialist II to support the prior authorization request process in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Aids the utilization management team by tracking and documenting authorizations and referrals according to policies
• Supports the authorization review process by researching and documenting necessary medical information for clinical review
• Verifies member insurance coverage and service eligibility to ensure timely payment adjudication

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1 - 2 years of related experience required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance preferred
• TruCare experience strongly preferred
