Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager of Benefits Design to oversee the development and management of health, welfare, and voluntary benefits programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives by designing and implementing benefits programs, including pilots and proof-of-concept projects
- Conduct regular audits of benefit programs to ensure effectiveness and compliance
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors in support of new benefits plans and programs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration, or related field
- At least five years of progressive responsibility in the benefits field, with two years in a management role
- Knowledge of laws and regulations affecting benefit plan administration, such as ERISA and HIPAA
- Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of financial principles
- Willingness to occasionally travel overnight as required
