A company is looking for a Bilingual UR Intake Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in health management and utilization review by processing requests from healthcare providers
- Maintain relationships with providers and ensure accurate authorization information is entered into the system
- Collaborate with various departments to provide necessary information for clinical reviews and manage patient-related communications
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent and/or two years of experience in a health insurance environment
- Experience in Utilization or Case Management interacting with clinical staff
- Good understanding of health benefits claims processing and medical coding (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record software
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to use Spanish up to 50% of the time
