Claims Processor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Processor who will manage the claims process and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer intake of Wellness and Insurance claims, including automated line item review and processing
• Fully adjudicate Wellness claim items from intake to reimbursement in accordance with service level agreements
• Interact with pet parents and clinic staff to complete claim processing and prioritize timely responses to inquiries

Required Qualifications

• Prior veterinary medical experience and knowledge of veterinary terminology, procedures, and diagnostics
• Insurance licensing and claim adjudication experience is advantageous but not required
• Proven ability to independently seek solutions to problems
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Suite and claims-related software programs
• Ability to prioritize multiple high-priority tasks and manage day-to-day schedules effectively
