Director of Origination

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director or Sr. Director, Origination.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing, negotiating, and executing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and complex power off-take arrangements
• Building and maintaining relationships with utilities, CCAs, and other partners
• Coordinating with various departments to develop customer solutions and evaluate market revenue potential

Required Qualifications

• MBA with three years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with eight years of progressive experience in energy markets
• Three years of experience in long-term energy procurement structures and technologies
• Experience and knowledge of renewable generation technologies
• Knowledge of regulatory policies, rates, tariffs, and electric transmission
• Strong understanding of economic drivers for renewable energy projects
