Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Strategic Sourcing - R&D.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing category strategies aligned with R&D functional goals
• Establish and lead relationships with senior stakeholders to support strategic sourcing activities
• Lead spend analytics and category governance to identify sourcing opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in leading strategic sourcing/contracts teams
• Strong understanding of the supplier marketplace across multiple categories
• Demonstrated contract negotiation experience
