A company is looking for a Group Claims Team Leader to oversee a team of Claims Specialists in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Claim Specialists, focusing on their training, coaching, and performance management
- Monitor work progress and performance metrics to ensure quality and timeliness of departmental output
- Act as a subject matter expert, engaging with external customers and internal stakeholders to address escalated issues
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Group Disability Claim experience with knowledge of product offerings and industry regulations
- 1 year of supervisory experience in coaching and performance management
- Effective management skills and strong leadership abilities
- Experience in a fast-paced service production environment
- Ability to work remotely with access to high-speed internet, located in the United States or Puerto Rico
