A company is looking for an Insurance Eligibility Representative to join their remote call center team.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits using payer portals and phone calls
• Update and maintain patient demographic and insurance data in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Document key benefit details and communicate with patients regarding their insurance coverage

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare call center or healthcare administration
• Familiarity with health insurance terminology and basic understanding of government-sponsored plans
• Proficient in navigating healthcare systems; experience with EHRs preferred
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• Experience in high-volume healthcare settings is preferred
