A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures accurate patient registration and performs eligibility verification and pre-authorizations
- Coordinates financial arrangements and collects payments for services rendered
- Maintains communication between clinical, ancillary, and patient access departments to enhance patient experience
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
- One or more years of relevant work experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programs and familiarity with database programs
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and exposure to insurance benefits
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus; certifications such as CHAA or CRCR preferred
