A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Representative.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance information and eligibility, contacting physician offices or patients as needed
- Obtain and document authorizations from insurance companies, ensuring accuracy in the patient accounting system
- Communicate with patients regarding co-insurance, co-pay, and deductible amounts due prior to the date of service
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Experience checking authorizations
- Familiarity with CPT codes
- Ability to work in a high production environment
- Healthcare experience is required
