Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance information and eligibility, contacting physician offices or patients as needed
• Obtain and document authorizations from insurance companies, ensuring accuracy in the patient accounting system
• Communicate with patients regarding co-insurance, co-pay, and deductible amounts due prior to the date of service

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Experience checking authorizations
• Familiarity with CPT codes
• Ability to work in a high production environment
• Healthcare experience is required
