Job Summary
A company is looking for an Intakes Specialist to support a government agency by managing case referrals and placements for program participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer emergency hotline calls and manage an email resource inbox
- Analyze complex requests for vulnerable populations to determine appropriate care placements
- Document cases and maintain confidential records while coordinating status updates throughout the intake process
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related discipline preferred
- 2 years of relevant experience with a BA/BS degree; 4 years with an AA/AS degree
- Experience working with immigrant, refugee, and underserved populations is preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including overnight shifts on Wednesdays and Thursdays
