Licensed Behavioral Care Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Management Behavioral Care Advocate - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform utilization management and concurrent review of behavioral health admissions and continued stay
• Ensure behavioral health services are medically necessary and provided in the most appropriate setting
• Manage discharge planning and transitions between care settings to ensure quality outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field, or registered psychiatric nurse
• Active, unrestricted, independent license in a behavioral health field or as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• 3+ years post-licensure clinical experience in a related behavioral health environment
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Access to secure, high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace at home
