Job Summary
A company is looking for a Benefits Analyst in the Office of Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist employees in understanding and navigating their benefits, providing one-on-one counseling and maintaining expert knowledge on various programs
- Counsel and assist employees with retirement processes, ensuring timely application processing and coordinating retirement vendor sessions
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Workday for benefits and time off plans, auditing data, responding to tickets, and preparing reports
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Counseling, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field
- Must pass the State Agency Benefits Coordinator exam and the Retirement Coordinator Certification within 3 months of employment
- Two years of progressively responsible experience in employment benefits and/or human resources administration
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain Notary Public appointment
- An equivalent combination of education and directly related experience may be considered
