Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Support Medical Claims Processing Representative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive medical claims from healthcare providers or patients and vet them against program-specific business rules
- Provide payment assistance solutions and support customer requests via various communication methods
- Work 40 hours per week under moderate supervision, identifying operational challenges and suggesting recommendations
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in claim processing is required
- Medical Billing Certification is required
- Coding Certification is required
- Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and HIPAA certification
