Job Summary

A company is looking for a Member Advocate I to act as a liaison between the Health Plan and Members, ensuring access to care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to Member complaints and grievances, identifying and resolving access barriers
  • Investigate access and cultural sensitivity issues raised by various stakeholders
  • Engage with local community organizations to understand Members' health care needs and update educational materials
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare environment
  • Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid preferred
  • Fluency in Russian, Mandarin, or Cantonese highly preferred
  • Understanding of HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality
