A company is looking for a Clinical Intake & Correspondence Specialist I.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for clinical documentation and inquiries
- Research and validate preauthorization requirements, member benefits, and eligibility
- Create and manage cases in the Care Management System
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in customer service or clinical services
- Intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Outlook, EMR systems)
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding (CPT, DX, HCPCs)
- Flexibility to adapt quickly and think creatively to solve problems
