Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage collections, account follow-up, and hospital mail for assigned Workers Comp/No Fault accounts
- Follow up with payers to ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims and monitor billing accuracy
- Analyze and resolve issues causing payment delays, initiating appeals when necessary
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2-3 years' experience in insurance collections, preferably in Hospital/Facility billing
- Basic knowledge of healthcare claims processing, including ICD-9/10, CPT, and HCPC codes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, preferred
- Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
