Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Service Representative to process and resolve workers compensation and other accident claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, hospital staff, and insurance payers
- Obtain necessary information regarding payment responsibilities and manage daily billing activities
- Update patient information in relevant systems and escalate complex accounts to management as needed
Required Qualifications
- Experience with workers' compensation eligibility verification
- Preferred experience with Meditech and claim submission via hospital clearinghouse (Quadax)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
