Principal Sales Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Sales Engineer responsible for enabling customers to integrate IBM i and IBM Z operational data into observability platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored presentations and lead demos to showcase Ironstream capabilities to customers
• Configure Ironstream hubs and agents for data collection and support integrations with observability platforms
• Collaborate with various teams to align technical delivery with business goals and provide necessary resources for customer engagements

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of IBM i and IBM Z environments
• Experience with observability platforms such as Splunk, Grafana, Datadog, and ServiceNow
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-mainframe audiences
• Familiarity with Ironstream configuration and deployment options
• Comfort leading customer-facing engagements using remote implementation skills
