A company is looking for a Telephonic Case Manager to facilitate medical recovery and return to work for injured employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments via telephone to evaluate the injured worker's needs
- Build relationships with various stakeholders including claims examiners and medical providers
- Negotiate treatment plans and identify opportunities for expedited care and cost containment
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Current unrestricted RN license in a state or territory of the United States
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent work experience preferred
- Certification in case management, rehabilitation nursing, or a related specialty is highly preferred
