Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Collects and reviews patient insurance benefit information and assists with insurance forms and program applications
• Completes and submits necessary insurance forms for prior authorizations and tracks requests
• Maintains communication with provider representatives and reports reimbursement trends to supervisors

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of experience in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, or healthcare setting
• General knowledge of pharmacy and medical benefits
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
