Key Responsibilities
- Collects and reviews patient insurance benefit information and assists with insurance forms and program applications
- Completes and submits necessary insurance forms for prior authorizations and tracks requests
- Maintains communication with provider representatives and reports reimbursement trends to supervisors
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of experience in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, or healthcare setting
- General knowledge of pharmacy and medical benefits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
