Collections Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Representative to resolve outstanding payer balances and manage claims effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve payer denials by understanding policies, contacting payers, and appealing or resubmitting claims
• Participate in team meetings, share knowledge, and recommend process improvements
• Ensure timely resolution of assigned accounts in compliance with payer regulations and department policies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1+ years of healthcare back-end revenue cycle experience (billing, collections, or A/R)
• Experience working with Medicare on denied healthcare claims
• Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST
