Key Responsibilities
- Review and update the employee handbook annually, providing recommendations and support as needed
- Consult with management on HR compliance, policies, and personnel issues
- Conduct exit interviews and provide professional development recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Certifications in the HR field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion
- Knowledge of nonprofit HR policies and regulations
- Located in the DC Metro area for occasional in-person meetings
