Job Summary
A company is looking for a Leave Specialist who will administer various clients' Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies and perform clerical duties to support operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist associates with Leave of Absence (LOA) requests and guide them through the process
- Process all LOA paperwork according to established procedures and laws, and administer the FMLA policy
- Maintain compliance with standards and federal/state regulations while generating reports and maintaining files
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-5 years of FMLA claim administration or a related field
- Current experience in the integrated disability and absence management industry
- Solid understanding of FMLA and employment regulations
- Must complete continuing education requirements as outlined by educational services
